Just keep doing it until it becomes second nature. Breaks the game.Īll in all though, there is no trick to it.

Oh, and something I found out the hard way.don't forfeit before the race even starts. It's 100 per trial(first one can be free with Persuade) but winning only gives you 500 so it's most certainly not worth it if you can't win on the first try. Unless an obstacle covers the entire field, you don't need to jump over it, passing it on the side is usually much better.(But still feel free to jump if you have to.) If you're obviously not going to win, forfeit and start over, don't torture yourself.(Unless you're new to the track of course, going slowly once to learn it is a smart idea.)Īnd of course the most important thing: Save(quicksave preferably) before racing, then load. Other hints: It's very important to catch some speed-ups early on, not so much towards the end. You can do everything with the mouse, and after a couple of tries to get used to it, it's not too hard.

The problem is, moving the mouse also moves you left and right. In II, you have to jump as well, and you can't do that with the keyboard, so you have to use the mouse at the same time. Here's a hint: In KotOR I, you could just use the keyboard and it was much easier.
